Overview
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented UI Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for creating visually engaging, intuitive, and user-centric interfaces across web and mobile digital products. The ideal candidate combines strong aesthetics with a deep understanding of user behaviour, accessibility, and modern design standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate product requirements, user needs, and brand guidelines into high-quality UI designs.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished visual mockups.
- Design responsive interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Work closely with UX designers, product managers, and developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency.
- Contribute to and maintain design systems, component libraries, and brand assets.
- Conduct UI reviews and collaborate on usability testing to refine designs.
- Ensure accessibility and usability best practices across all designs.
- Iterate on feedback quickly while maintaining design integrity.
- Keep up to date with current UI trends, tools, and emerging technologies.
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a UI Designer or similar design role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing digital product design (web + mobile).
- Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, colour theory, and spacing principles.
- Experience working within or developing design systems.
- Knowledge of UX principles and best practices.
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML/CSS/React) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to justify design decisions.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience with prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, InVision, Protopie).
- Understanding of component-based frameworks (e.g., React).
- Experience designing dashboards, SaaS platforms, or mobile apps.
- Animation/motion graphics skills.
